Jacksonville Equestrian Center Lets the Dogs Out for the AKC Pals & Paws Agility Trial

Jacksonville, FL (November 6, 2015) – The Jacksonville Equestrian Center recently played host to the AKC Pals & Paws Agility Trial, opening its beautiful 80-acre facility to a multitude of canines of various breeds. The dogs worked as a team with their handlers to complete an impressive obstacle course as quickly and flawlessly as possible. This is not the first time that the Jacksonville Equestrian Center has accommodated the AKC Pals & Paws Agility Trial — the facility has been a go-to location for the event in the past, and will continue to be in the future.

“The people running the Jacksonville Equestrian Center are terrific,” said the Vice President of Pals & Paws Dog Agility Club, Sheila Garbecki. “They really know what customer service is all about. The staff is always happy to help us with any issues we may have.” Pals & Paws plans on continuing this partnership with the Jacksonville Equestrian Center, and has several future events already booked at the facility. Garbecki has enjoyed showing her own dog, Missy, at the Jacksonville Equestrian Center in the past. “She is eight years old and a parti-colored Cocker Spaniel,” said Garbecki.

The Jacksonville Equestrian Center is a state-of-the-art facility that hosts not only equestrian events, but is also well versed in accommodating sporting events, recreational events, festivals, concerts, and weddings. The facility is part of a recreational park that includes trails, an aquatic center complete with an Olympic-size indoor pool, ball fields, a golf course, a community center, and a world class equestrian center—all making this versatile facility an impressive contribution to the Jacksonville area.

This month will bring even more exciting events to the Jacksonville Equestrian Center. On November 7, the First Coast Classical Dressage horse show will take place. The event will last two days and feature Recognized Show Level and International Level competitions. The Jacksonville Equestrian Center will then switch gears on November 14, offering the Backwoods Country Jam Concert featuring live performances from popular country artist Lee Brice and openers Maddie and Tae. For concert tickets, please visit www.backwoodsjam.com. Over Thanksgiving weekend, the Jacksonville Equestrian Center will partner with Fiddler’s Trailer Sales to bring top barrel racers to Jacksonville for The Fiddler’s Turkey Run. The competition will be free for spectators.
