Belgian Warmblood North American Division’s Belgian Warmblood Inspection Tour

Keurings typically start early in the mornings with BWP/NAD Reps pulling DNA on the mares & foals and completing markings – this is conducted in the stalls with the owners handling their horses. Once markings are completed we move on to presentations.
We request mares to be braided and shown in a bridle. Foals will have their halters removed after their conformation is inspected. Yearlings can be shown in a halter & 2YO’s in a bridle. Mares are shown in hand with foals by their side and foals at liberty. Braiding of foals is optional but encouraged. Presenters are encouraged to wear white shirts/khaki pants and comfortable running shoes. Please check with your keuring hosts for availability of handlers, braiders & photographers.

Order of Go:
Typically go as follows: Mares 3-6, Mares 7+, Colts, Fillies, Yearlings (colts and fillies together) 2YO’s (colts and fillies together) Stallions, Free Jumping
All participants must register online prior to the Keuring or there will be a $50 on-site registration fee. Contact the Registry to see if your foal is eligible for registration without inspection.
IMPORTANT: Microchipping is required by the USEF so please have your foal microchipped prior to the Keuring so we can submit their 15 digit number with their BWP registration.
